Both whole-home systems — city and well — come with the Sentry H2O under-sink drinking system built in. The house gets clean water at every tap; your kitchen sink gets mineral-rich, alkaline drinking water on top.

Test included

Your water test comes with the order — before it ships.

Well water is different at every address, so every well whole-home order includes a water test up front. We build the media around what your well actually shows and ship it custom-optimized to your water — targeted for your iron, sulfur, nitrates or arsenic. The test is part of fulfillment, not a separate purchase or a hoop to clear first.

Better than reverse osmosis

All the clean, none of the waste.

No waste stream

Reverse osmosis sends 3 to 5 gallons down the drain for every gallon it makes. This system has no drain line — it wastes none.

Alive, not stripped

RO strips calcium, magnesium and oxygen out. Catalytic carbon leaves the minerals in, the AlkaGuard stage adds more back — lab-tested 6.8 → 8.2 pH — and the ToxyGuard oxygenation stage adds oxygen back. Filtered, alkalized and oxygenated.

Every tap, not one

RO treats a single faucet. This treats the whole house — and still delivers alkaline drinking water at the kitchen sink.

What it takes out

The contaminants city water leaves behind.

Chlorine & chloramine

Catalytic carbon chemically breaks down chloramine — not just chlorine — the longer-lasting disinfectant cheap filters leave behind.

Lead & arsenic

In independent lab testing, lead and arsenic went from detectable to non-detect after treatment.

PFAS + PFOS

Measured at the system level by an independent lab: in the under-sink test most PFAS compounds reached non-detect — 97.4–99.9% where both before-and-after values were quantified.

Fluoride & VOCs

Fluoride dosed in at the plant, plus VOCs from runoff and solvents, reduced through the same multi-stage media.

Reduction results depend on incoming water chemistry, flow rate and configuration; your results may differ. See the published independent lab reports on our Science page. Sentry H2O reports its systems are tested to NSF standards; certification documents are being finalized, so we do not call them NSF certified.

Salt-free scale control

Every fixture, protected from scale.

Hard water leaves scale on every fixture it touches — indoors and out. The whole-home system treats water with salt-free scale-control media the moment it enters the house, managing the minerals before they harden onto your pipes, water heater and fixtures — without a brine tank or bags of salt. It's protection at every tap.

Illustrative comparison of a scale-protected fixture vs. one on untreated hard water. Salt-free scale control prevents new buildup at the point of entry — it doesn't scrub away deposits that have already formed.

High-nitrate & agricultural water

Nitrates? We build for them.

In agricultural areas and many wells, nitrates are the real concern. The whole-home system is custom-fitted with nitrate-selective media — matched to your water test — to target nitrates head-on, without reverse osmosis's waste stream or stripped minerals. It isn't a compromise; it's a matter of building the right system for your water.

Nitrate treatment is configured to your water test results — and on the well system that test is included with your order, so the media is sized to exactly what your water shows before it ships.

End the bottled-water habit

Your tap becomes the source.

A whole-home system means there's nothing to buy, haul, or throw away — clean, filtered water is already waiting at every faucet in the house.

Why it matters

The Whole Home for Wells, in short.

Well water is wild — iron, sulfer, nitrates, arsenic, all different at every address. This system is built to your water, treating every drop in the house so your shower, your dishes and your drinking water all run clean.

The build is tuned to exactly what's in your well — and a water test is included with every order, done before we ship, so your system arrives custom-optimized to your water. Includes the under-sink drinking system, and the tank media lasts 5–7 years. Rural living, city-clean water.

Naturally alkaline

Minerals added back — pH 8.2.

The AlkaGuard stage is designed to add calcium and magnesium back and gently raise pH. Independent lab testing measured 6.83 in, 8.21 out — never stripped flat like reverse-osmosis water.

Lab-tested (under-sink, Tempe). pH varies with source water.

Straight answers

Common questions

Is the Sentry H2O Whole Home for Wells right for my home? +

Well-water homes, ranches and rural properties needing heavier treatment. Not sure? Our 60-second quiz confirms fit in a minute.

How often do filters need replacing? +

Tank media refreshed every 5–7 yrs (7 yrs for 1–3 people, 5 yrs for 4+); under-sink filters annually. Subscribe to auto-ship and we'll send the exact refill on schedule with a reminder.

What if it is not right for me? +

Every system is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Mechanical housings and hardware are covered for 1 year; filters and filter media are excluded.

Is a whole-house system worth it for a well? +

For well-water homes, a whole-house system is purpose-built for the higher bacteria, sediment and contaminant loads private wells often carry -- delivering treated water to every tap, shower and appliance. The tank media on a well system typically lasts about five to seven years before a refresh.

Does it handle bacteria and viruses? +

The Sentry H2O Well Whole House Wellness System is built for well water, and for chemical-free whole-home disinfection the VIQUA VH200 UV system uses UV-C light to neutralize bacteria and viruses as water enters your home -- no change to taste and no byproducts. For drinking water specifically, the under-sink BioChemGuard TriGuard stage covers bacteria and viruses at the tap.

What is catalytic-carbon filtration, and how is it different from reverse osmosis? +

Catalytic-carbon filtration uses specially processed activated carbon that reacts with and breaks down contaminants as water passes through multiple stages. Unlike reverse osmosis, our Sentry H2O systems don't strip the water of everything -- they target the bad stuff while leaving naturally occurring beneficial minerals in place. You get cleaner, better-tasting water without wasting a drop or plugging anything into the wall.

Does the system need electricity or produce wastewater? +

No electricity, no drain connection, and no wastewater. Reverse osmosis systems can reject 3 to 5 gallons for every gallon they make; our Sentry H2O systems reject none and run on normal household water pressure. That means no extra drain line, no outlet, and nothing to plug in.

Does it change the taste or smell of the water? +

Yes -- for the better. Chlorine and chloramine drive most of that tap-water taste and smell, and the ToxyGuard stage is built to reduce both. The AlkaGuard stage then adds back trace minerals for a cleaner, rounder flavor, without the flat aftertaste reverse osmosis can leave behind.

What about chlorine and chloramine from city water? +

Both are specifically targeted by the ToxyGuard stage in every Sentry H2O system. Chloramine is notoriously hard to remove with standard carbon, which is exactly why we use catalytic carbon -- its enhanced reactivity breaks chloramine down more effectively, so your water smells and tastes clean straight from the tap.
